Helen is a friend of mine who lives a very long way away, so she came to stay with me for the weekend.
Among the hundreds of photos we made over the weekend (not including the hundreds more I've still yet to develop) this one stood out the most. Sometimes when I'm going through my contact sheets one frame will jump out at me and I'll have to print it right away. This was one of those.
The afternoon sun was behind her, and the way it lit up her face as it reached around her was brilliant.
